Defining Users & Scenarios

As with any product and design it is important to define and understand your target audience. Working closely with the PM, UX researchers, and marketing team we defined the target users, major scenarios, and flow before any design commenced. Rough hand sketches were used to quickly delivery the concepts and ideas to the team and get agreement from all stakeholders. We call it the visual MRD (marketing requirement document).

Designing & Managing

After completing the initial designs major tasks fall onto managing internal resources ranging from visual designer, front-end developers, tech writers, to ux researchers for usability testing in order to deliver finalized designs on time to the engineering team.

Wearing Multiple Hats

Due to limited resources I was responsible for everything from interaction designs, wording, scheduling, to initial visual design styles until dedicated visual designer was brought onto the project to help polish and visualize the remaining designs before user testing.
